A group of young & eager campaign staffers must save a congressman from political self destruction after he offends various ethnic groups. Tasked with saving the campaign the staffers also compete amongst each other to gain favor within the candidate's inner circle.

From making decisions such as straightening or curling our natural hair to coping with issues such as depression in the Black community, complex[ion] woman explores the intricacies of the everyday experiences of the contemporary woman of color in 2016.
